Why is my transaction refused?

Most of the time, the transaction will be refused because you didn't enter your "Verified by" security code correctly.

What does the "Verified by" security code mean?

When you make a transaction through the Dalpay payment system, you might be redirected to your financial institution's website to enter an authentication number. (Verified by for VISA and Secure Code for Mastercard). This procedure was put in place in order to counter fraud and makes online shopping safer for the clients and the merchants.

What does it look like?

First of all, you need to enter your card information in the appropriate fields of the Dalpay interface that looks like this:

After you have entered the information of your card, you will be redirected on a page that looks like this:

I don't know my password?

If you don't know you "Verified by" code, you will need to follow the procedure put in place by your financial institution. For example, for a VISA Desjarins card, you will need to click on the link that says "Mot de passe oublié?" located below the password field.

Once you have clicked on the "Mot de passe oublié?" link, you are asked to enter basic personal information. When this is done, you will create your "Verified by" password. When you click on "Terminer l'inscription", the payment will be made and you will be redirected on an Annonce123 page that will confirm the payment.

Do I have to create a "Verified by" password each time I make a transaction?

No. The next time you will make the transaction, you just need to enter this password and the transaction will be processed right away.
